Southern Appalachia Fibershed

The Southern Appalachia Fibershed consists of a 250 mile radius of Knoxville, Tennessee. As a regional affiliate of the original Fibershed community based in California, their fundamental goal is to build the textile community and connect the supply chain from farmer to consumer.

The Affiliate Website was designed to be a landing place for all local farmers, designers, mill owners, and supporters to share information about offerings and community events. The Inaugural Fashion Showcase event was held in October 2019 to celebrate the local textile community and continue to strengthen each connection in the chain from raw product to quality end goods.
